The Jamboree is a unique annual event that showcases the latest designs in fashion, jewelry, hairstyles and techniques. It is held during August to September in Toronto, Canada and is considered to be one of the most important annual fashion shows in the world. In order to gain entry to this major event, potential candidates need to submit a resume and cover letter that highlights their creativity and their suitability for the position.
Candidates who are eligible can register for the Jamboree between January and May of each year, with the deadline sometime in early November. The Jamboree is very competitive, with thousands of people looking for a place to show off their talent and ideas. In addition, there is an expo hall where each year, new designers display their work until the next expo jamb expo. If you are a designer interested in participating in the Jamboree, here are some tips on how to better prepare for your upcoming exam:
Learn the Jamboree’s theme beforehand. This will make it easier for you to figure out what your role in the event will be. Usually, the theme of the Jamboree is related to the culture of the city where it is being held, and you should therefore choose your exhibits based on this. For instance, if the expo is taking place in New York, the displays and booths in the expo hall should exhibit goods or services that relate to the lifestyle of New Yorkers.
Spend some time familiarizing yourself with the various exhibits and booths. After doing your research, you will know which areas are related to your career path, and you will know what you should focus on when speaking to the sales team of the organizing committee. You may want to read the themes for previous Jamboree exhibits, run down past themes and learn about new trends in the fashion industry that you may be interested in showing at the expo. This will give you a good base from which to start the discussions that will help you win awards at the Jamboree. At the end of the proceedings, you can also try to get an award for the best sales representative or best overall creative category.
Learn your profile code. Your profile code is a six-digit number that will be unique to you and only you. It consists of your name, city and country. Each year, your profile is verified to check on your eligibility for participation in the competition. In addition, if a panelist checks your code and finds that you meet the specified requirements, you will automatically be given a place on the panel. In case you do not qualify, you can still become a contestant but your chances of winning are low.
Your profile code can also be detected via a computer based test, as computer-based tests are more accurate than phone-based tests. To get your five digit mobile number, you will need to register and pay a fee. Once you have registered, you will receive your mobile number plus your code, and you are ready to begin the contest.
Set up a meeting with all the potential candidates. On the day of the competition, set up a meeting with at least one of the possible candidates and arrange a sit down meeting in a hotel room. The candidates can either choose to meet in person or have their pictures taken. If the conference is arranged by a panel member, arrange a meeting between the panelists before the scheduled date of the competition.
Prepare for four subjects. The four subjects are math, communication, marketing, and business skills. To prepare for the language exam, prepare for both the simplified test and the pro version, which is based on the real exam. Your preparations should also include a review of the phone numbers and codes listed in your registration.
The morning of the competition, the registration fee will be due. Any candidates who wish to submit additional fee claims in writing must submit them at the Jamb International Airport upon arrival. You will need to provide proof of payment within 24 hours of receiving your registration confirmation. Please note that if you wish to take the 2021 exams, you must have your fingerprints submitted to the FBI by noon on the day of the competition.
Once your registration has been processed, you will be contacted by email with details about the start time and date of the competition. You will also receive a confirmation about the date of the competition. Be sure to check your confirmation for important information, including your exact entry date. Make sure that you have collected all your Jamb International Expo Jamb Extracurricular Supplies (JIS) and checked them against your packing list. If additional supplies are required, contact the exhibitor program coordinator to confirm about shipment.
